Abu Dhabi Ports, in collaboration with the Federal Transport Authority, has launched 'Horns of Hope' - a symbol of the Abu Dhabi maritime sector's solidarity with communities facing the current global health challenges.

In a world-first, each evening after Maghrib prayers, tugboats in the harbours of each of ports in Abu Dhabi will sound their horns to recognise and show support for the maritime, healthcare and the critical sector personnel working on the front lines to address the impact of Covid-19.
Dr Abdullah bin Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority - Land and Maritime, said: "It's imperative our maritime and logistics lifelines remain open and that we take the lead from our wise leadership's directives to continue advancing the UAE's trade links."
