As part of ongoing efforts to expand the reach of the Phase III clinical trials of the inactivated Covid-19 vaccine, a new centre #4Humanity has been launched in Egypt, Abu Dhabi Media Office revealed on Thursday. This makes Egypt the fourth Arab country to participate in the trials following the UAE, Bahrain and Jordan.

The extension follows the successful launch of the trials in the UAE on July 16 by G42 Healthcare and Sinopharm CNBG, with 31,000-plus volunteers from 125 nationalities in the UAE vaccinated, representing double the required number of volunteers.
