Gang of nine arrested for robbery, rape at Dubai brothel

Investigation team arrested all nine suspects

The Dubai public Prosecution is interrogating five UAE nationals and four Asians, who were arrested by Dubai Police for robbing seven Asians, including six women, as well as raping a woman at a brothel.
The Operation Room of Dubai Police's recently received a call at 3 am about a rape and theft incident in a house located in the city's Al Waheed area.
 
A police patrol team was dispatched to the location and discovered  that six Asian women and a man, who had been working as prostitutes, were robbed.
The 35-year-old male suspect, Sh.b and women - 24-year-old M.A, 23-year-old B.T, 20-year-old Sh .P, 25-year-old M.B, 28-year-old B.A and 31 year old A.M told the police that they called the police to report about a robbery by a group of men. One of the suspects had threatened them with a knife.
Describing the suspects, the victims said that one of them spoke Arabic and the other spoke Pashto.
The well built men broke into the house and stole their money and mobile phones.
One of the women, 30-year-old Sh.B, was also raped by two suspects, the victims added.
The police referred the woman to the forensic laboratory and formed a team to investigate the case - the team managed to arrest seven suspects, including four Emirati suspects.
The arrested were identified as: first Emirati suspect A.A, second suspect M.A, third suspect A.M, and fourth suspect H.M as well as the three Asians, D.Sh, F.A and B.M.
During police interrogation, the third suspect confessed that the nine accomplices headed to the flat, which was being run as a brothel - to carry out a robbery. He said that the fourth, fifth and ninth suspects came from Sharjah to Dubai, met the other suspects and took them to the flat identified by the fourth suspect.
Divulging more details about the robbery, the third suspect added that after they stole Dh4,500 after they broke into the house, which they divided among themselves. They also stole 62 mobile phones of various brands from the victims.
 
The first and second Emirati suspects then raped the 30 year old Asian woman, Sh.B.
Police arrested the first and second suspects in Al Khwaneej area, while the sixth, seventh and eighth suspects were arrested in Sharjah's Qasimya area.The third suspect was arrested in Al Warqa, while the fifth suspect was arrested in Oud Al Muteena on the same day.
UAE nationals A.B. and A.O have previous criminal records for forcible theft, and confessed that they threat the victims at knife point and raped one of the women.
