Video: Rain hits parts of UAE on Saturday

The temperature in the country has already hit 8 °C on the lower end.

UAE residents are in luck as the weather is due to get more pleasant over the rest of the weekend.   
Rain drenched some parts of the UAE on late Friday and residents can expect more showers on Saturday.

The temperature in the country has already hit 8 degree Celsius on the lower end. And there could be further respite as it could rain over the weekend till Sunday. 
The National Centre for Meteorology in the UAE said that the country is affected by an extension of low pressure from south east, accompanies with extension of upper air trough.

Given the weather conditions, there could be an increase in the amount of clouds over eastern and northern areas. This could lead to rainfall from Friday to Sunday, the NCM said.

The maximum temperature recorded on Friday at 4.30pm was 29.8 degree Celsius.
